I just got off the phone with a lady from the SAT's.
She asked, "Are the parents of Dustin home?"
"They're not available right now (you stranger) but this is Dustin."
"oh, well you're not in any trouble, justed wanted to let know some important information about scholarships and the SAT's. I'll call back later."

And now for something completley different
Long story short: i was very tired on Friday. And no turtles were found. But hind sight's 20/20!
Here's a picture of the campfire.

I do like camping, just not going to work the next morning. I would have thoroughly enjoyed the walk in the morning if i would have had the day off or something.
Yesterday a man from Bulgaria (that is working here this summer) got in touch with my dad, and said he wanted to come to our church. He has been saved at the beginning of this summer and was very excited to learn more about our God. But it was funny, Bulgaria is the only country in the world that has the 'yes' & 'no' head nods backwards. So for a while, we were asking him some questions and he was thinking he was saying yes but got us all confused. We had a good laugh once it was all sorted out.
Ya not much else....oh wait:
"GARDEN VALLEY, Texas (AP) -- Previously unreleased music by the late Christian singer-songwriter Keith Green is about to become available.
Green and two of his children were killed 25 years ago this month when their private plane crashed on his ministry's Texas ranch.
The accident doused one of the brightest lights in the Jesus Movement, a youthful Christian counterculture. Green was posthumously inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
An iTunes release with music never before heard by the public, but saved by his widow, Melody, is planned for August, and more material is to be released next year.
In the 25 years since her husband's death, Melody Green, now 60, has remarried and divorced, suffered a stroke, and sold the Texas property to Teen Mania."

helping out my brothas'
I found this cool lil' gadget that gives you a "slang o' the day". Thought it might help out any other white guys trying to "break it down like that nizzle". Arg, i guess i got a ways to go on my slang.
Learn slang!
Any who, here's a cool quote i found:
"It's a rare person who wants to hear what he doesn't want to hear.
- Dick Cavett"

A new look
Thought I'd try something new. Let me know if you think its ugly or something. I also put a poll at the bottom of the page, if you're bored or something.

Learning how to adapt
By now I've made it known that i don't enjoy working, but i'm starting to learn how to.....like it...i guess. I rode my bike the 3-4 miles to work a couple days this week. It was so hot Tuesday i just took my cellphone and wallet out of my pockets and jumped off my bike right into the pool! That was satisfying and very relaxing. Ya'll should try that sometime ; )
I just finished watching all of my tapes from Europe. That was an incredible time.
Another thing to try to break out the routine (i've found) is to do things that scare you. I went to a youth group party on Thursday. No, my youth group isn't (that) scary ;) But i'm just not a party person, but what the heck. It was something new and i wound up having a great time. I just had to leave early so i could get up for work on time =(
That's about it....wait....this just in from the RNN:
triskaidekaphobia: fear of the number 13.

more Erope pix
So i meant to post this yesterday, but it got a little crazy. I went back to work today after my week off. It was everything i remembered it was. It's not the most enjoyable job, but it is good to be disciplined. Or so i'm told *wink wink*
I got to go out to see transformers last night after church! Church was good yesterday. Lots happening. Lots of visitors at church too! We even hosted the preacher! So ya, life's good.
I know i said i'd post pix from last week but i've noticed i haven't put up too much here from Europe, so in the name of laziness, here's some Euro pix:
Here's what's not on display in the Louvre (Paris)

Dachau concentration camp in Germany

Innsbruck, Austria

Ahhhh!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm off this week from work for 4th of July!
Right now....I'm watching my brother paddle around in my cousin's kayak on the river that's reflecting the setting sun. Thinking about how cool that brand new flippin huge widescreen is in my grandma's new house here that i'm staying at. Listening to the water flow into the pool. Feeling that cool breeze off the water. Listening to that "mo-town" sound through my grandparents' sweet sound system.
My Grandparents' house is amazing.
I'm loving sleeping in too. I think it's really the first chance i've gotten to sleep in late. = )
This vacation is awesome. I'll put pictures up later.
In other news, I got to see Evan Almighty the other day. It was surprisingly good. Not like the funniest movie ever or anything, but the way it portrayed God was mostly very good all throughout the movie. Actually gave me some food for thought. I'll do some research on it later to see what viewpoint the filmmakers were trying to come from.
