This week the trend....

While i do have a lot going on these next two weeks, it is encouraging to think that this will pretty much be it. For this year. Wow, that's kinda scary, one mo' year. =O
But i think it's slowly paying off, as i watch certain grades rise.

Anywho, last night i went jogging in preparation for field day. I have a lot of work ahead of me in that department!

Got another guitar concert this sunday!
Oh! that's right, i forgot to tell anyone who keeps up; the concert last saturday went well. My first time playing electric at a show! That didn't go too bad. Just gotta work on this timing for a bluesy kinda song. Thanks to Pops and Pops' parents for coming.

Now from the Random News Network:

Been digging some of The Waifs' songs lately

as of.......now, there is 603 hours 26 minutes and 10 seconds till the school year is done (that's 26 days)

Stephen Hawking hit zero gravity(in a plane) yesterday. Just think about that a moment. And, yes i know it's cheasy and lazy to put up a link that you probably won't read anyways, but just in case you 're interested , (or don't know who Stephen Hawking is) check it out.

Top lyrics of the week:

"It hurts when you need me
And I can't break your fall
It hurts when you can't see
And it hurts

And it hurts when you're lonely
And I'm standing right beside you there
And it hurt when you told me
That you told me that you tried this on your own

Hope you never hurt
Hope you never cry
Hope you never lose your way tonight
Hope you never crumble
Hope you never fall"

-from TFK's art of breaking CD (not sure if they meant it, but i love those words as
if God's saying that to us.)

Jim Gaffigan - cake

I was listening to this as i was setting up the pix and laughed out very loud. Thought somebody might like it. This is the funniest comedian i've found that is decently clean.

Spring break snapshots

Wow! Spring Break was amazing, and now just two weeks back to school and i am so ready for summer!!

(I really like google, but they're not letting me do these pix the way i want right now, so i'll just put the captions in the way they're laid out (L-R)

This is the big city of collegeland,
the rocks in a river at collegeland,
the shore at my grandparents new house,
then we hid the easter eggs at my other grandparents house (all kinds of places),
then the multitude of cousins looked for the eggs,
and found them,
a view from above of (a few of) the cousins,
what can i say i like to climb things (trees especially),

Oh well...

Really, i'm trying to get some spring break pix up. But first, the events of today:

Today's events really started last night when me, my dad and mom were trying to register myself for the ACT tests. The compy (a.k.a: com-pu-tor) said i was registered as a stand by tester guy. So, the next morning, i turned into a zombie (no no, serious) because i woke at six-fifty (yes A.M.) but i quikly changed back to my alter ego of an obnoxious teen by jumping into my aqua phone booth. (a.k.a: a shower). So, then i drive the two minutes to the test center place and hunt around for the stand by test center room for about five minutes. Some head hauncho type lady tells me i can print out the pieces of paper i'll need online. Call pops and he looks on the ACT website place. No such papers to be found or printed. I tell this lady that there are no papers online and she sends me to the stand-by testers room. I sit in there for another five minutes until the head hauncho lady's assitant comes in and tells me her boss said that i won't be able to take the test. (are you now as confused as i was?) Mixed emotions now. On one hand, i wanted to take it so i could do better and have expierience to take it next time. But i think more importantly (wink wink) i didn't want to take it because i had guitar today and our concert is next saturday. So i'll say:

BOO YAY!!!!!!!!

So i went home and practiced a little guitar but mostly tried to sleep. So then at about twenty after ten i head out to guitar. Very nice practice today. I got assigned to play another electric guitar part!
(this will be my first concert to play electric) So, i'm a little nervous about it, but it should be really sweet!

Then after guitar i went to help a friend with some yardwork and then came home, surfed a little of the web (which i should stop now to go take out the trash) and then typed that word , and now this word.

(can ya tell i'm still a little tired?)

Spring Break (so far)

Wow! Lots has happened this spring break and now there's only tomorrow left as i type this. (and that's shaping up to be another sweet day)

I meant to post this the other day, but so much has gone on i think i'll have to post the pics later.

After church last sunday, we (mommy, sister sara, and I) went to USC. Sara had to take a test thing for homeschoolers so, in my quest for the right college, i went to class with davy. It seemed pretty easy to be honest. Then i went to North Greenville College. It's a cool little Christian college up in the north west corner of south carolina and up in the mountains so it is very pretty. I also hung out with an old friend (a friend who i've known for a while, not a geezer) at columbia international university. That's a small Bible college just outside columbia.
So there's the three college choices so far.

Then on wednesday we left for my grandma's new house in virginia. This place is sweet. Big and by the river! Pretty cool, just not much to do while no one else is there. My mom set up an easter egg hunt for us there. (one of the many it seems)

So we got back at like midnight on friday, and i watched what was left of the late show =D

Now our cousins from Ireland, as well as our cousins from pennsylvania, are here in town, and i've been 'hanging out' with them these past few days. (with all the parents and everyone, there's like 30 people). We had the big easter egg hunt at my grandma's house today. Somewhere in the ballpark of 200-300 eggs i think. (plastic and hardboiled combined)
By the way, whose idea was it to hard boil eggs, dye em' and hide them around a yard? Maybe i'll look that up later.
So ya, all we big kids 'hid' the eggs (this required climbing a few trees). Much fun was had all around. Hanging out with my cousins from penn. reminded me of the good Christmastime that was had in penn. And the irish peoples reminded me of me and davy's irish missions trip to ireland. Good....no no....great times.
