Yes, i am glad i got to go to the state championships for my senior year, and it would have been even better if we could have not gotten 4th (aka: last, in my case), but much fun was had by all. As far as i know that was the last time i will play on an organized team in a league format...thing.
It was almost surreal-like to play my last home game on the 23rd. I've looked at, run/walked on, sat by, laughed on, had water fights on, and played many a soccer game on that field behind our school. And now i never get to play on it again with the school team =' (
haha, ok i really not crying, just realizing that i'm growing up.
So that's life, trying to finish up some college applications before deadlines run up and punt everyone's expectations out of view of the mind's eye. In other words not much time till applications are due.
Here's a quick vid from the state fair someone else may enjoy.

a change
I broke the routine by going to the Sate Fair on Friday. It was after my soccer game that we came back and won after half-time! Much fun was had by all, and i kept all my cookies to myself.
(from left to right:) Driving to the fair after the game, hope you can read, classic, weee!, circles, wii, a duck slide

It's getting dark before the moon's up!

Yes, fall is finally falling after fidgeting in a foul fetish of fury to forget to figure.
(and the abridged version: it's starting to get colder)
I love summer because you get out of school and you can wear your swimsuit all day if you want, or spend all day at the beach or sleep in or make some $$$, or go somewhere
I love fall because you can step on crunchy leaves and jump in crunchy leaves and wear sweaters all day long and play sports (because it's not too cold or too hot (just right) and nature is giving it one last heave-ho before winter and Christmas is closer!!
I think i've found the rule for listening to Christmas music: once it's cold enough to wear a sweater, you can listen.
Today didn't look like it was going to smile at me, but i'm glad i smiled at it. (even though it was hard and i didn't really want to)
Thank you God

something new
For the past few days i've just been doing the "school routine". Except for my sweet....seventeen. It was most excellent, and yes i got everything i wanted =D
Then there was today. After school was the sweetest soccer game i have ever played. This is the school that beat us before 1-7 (actually just their soccer team). But i was pretty confident about it all day. So with ten minutes left in the first half, the score is us: 4 them:0 and a guy on the their team breaks his collarbone (or got it broken or something.) So we waited the half hour for the ambulance to come (and it actually drove on the field....cringe) and get him stabilized.
So at half time our coach says: "the bad news is these guys have come back from losing at half time at three other games, the good news is we're going to beat them." So with about 20 minutes left in the last half, the score is 4-3 (us winning) But we got one more goal in with less than two minutes....it was sweet. It was sweet to hear the crowd cheering. (That's a tip for you professional fans; cheer on your team!!)
And this was the team that our school has not beat in like 6 years. And the first game they lost this season. It was sweet.
So that's all the news from this end of the universe
Peace, love and a root beer float to all of you

Trying to keep the letters straight in my head
I was going to say on here yesterday that i'm suspicious of my ADD tendencies, and was wondering if i am an ADD dude.......but i got distracted and forgot to put that up. But it's more likely i'm just looking for an excuse for my lazy forgetfulness.
That's all the news for today. Going to bed now so i can get up early to take my SATs tomorrow! Woo woot! Here goes another four hours well spent.....
